The Quran is the best advice you will ever get.
I actually opened the Qur’an to quell my fears and stop the excessive flow of sadness, and I found that and more. The verses are poised in such a way, every time you come and look back at them again, they still take you aback every single time. It’s like they have a new meaning … or a same meaning, only deeper … or perhaps you’ve just never looked it in that light before. But the advice given is so beautiful, so true, sometimes so subtle, sometimes so simple … it makes us ask questions about ourselves - and THAT is the beauty of the Qur’an.
“And whatever thing you [people] have been given - it is [only for] the enjoyment of worldly life and its adornment. And what is with Allah is better and more lasting; so will you not use reason?” (Qur’an, 28:60)
“And it is He who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of the night and the day. Then will you not reason?” (Qur’an, 23:80)
“And in yourselves. Then will you not see?” (Qur’an, 51:21)
Change can only happen once we question ourselves and our actions.
“For each one are successive [angels] before and behind him who protect him by the decree of Allah . Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves. And when Allah intends for a people ill, there is no repelling it. And there is not for them besides Him any patron.” (Qur’an, 13:11)
Whatever it is, the Qur’an is the best advice for this world, and whatever comes next.
FAKTA.
